The Montreal music scene produces some of Canada’s top artists, giving them a stage to showcase in the some of the hippest live venues and cultural festivals found anywhere in the world. From Arcade Fire to Patrick Watson, many great artists started their careers here in Montreal. We showcased some of our very own talented artists at the RAC Talent Showcase held at Sala Rossa on August 21st, 2013.
Congratulations to Straight Jacket, the RAC Talent Showcase winners. They played a great and explosive set . We will be releasing some video of the event soon in the coming weeks. It was a great event produced by RAC students from organization to live sound. This is one of many inspiriting activities that take place daily at Recording Arts Canada. We’d also like to congratulate Banda Desenhada and ELIZA for putting on a great show, and of course to D.J. SïonoïS for making the club hop between sets.
